I understand that plasmoids have the limitation of “one or two arms, one or two legs and a head or no head” and also that they can turn into a blob and a puddle. What I’m wondering is could they stretch and morph into unconventional shapes? Could they stretch wide to fill a space roughly their size?Introduced in Dungeons & Dragons ' Spelljammer expansion, plasmoids are amorphous blobs that take on a humanoid shape whenever it's time to wield a sword and shield, but …The plasmoids as a whole for a pc race is on the razor's edge for a lot of mechanical things. That's the closest to a "canon" lifespan from the AD&D era. Good enough I suppose! The wording "one or two arms" implies that you cannot have more than two arms at a time. If as a plasmoid you could have an arbitrary number of limbs you could grapple three creatures at once while wielding five shields and swinging a great sword.
